How to convert flv files to avi files via FFMPEG using VB.asp.net

i would like to check with you guys the concept of converting flv to avi thru FFMPEG. tried to google but found nothing much. like to know on the ways how it converts, the bit rates and the frames etc...

hope you guys could help.
