Description: Testing activities:
execute .sql scripts written by the System Test team ? Once the testers run the scripts, they should analyze the results to find out: 1. Is the script correct, 2. Is there a problem with the data? and 3. Is there a bug in the DM code?
All results will be entered into client's issue tracking system.
Skills:
We need the folks to read and understand the STT and Design docs
read and understand the pl/sql migration code,
understand complex SQL,
be able to trouble shoot data issues and propose SQL fixes if needed.
If need be, understand and fix performance issues.
Having done testing before is a plus.
Experience executing scripts and logging defects in Quality Center is preferred
Safety knowledge is a plus, but we will teach them on the job as well.
Testers need to be detail oriented and be able to communicate well on paper and in team meetings.
